NEWS 2006!
April 8 - I attended the AJRTA Inaugural Event...G-T-G, racing, conformation, fun! Chablis came away with Best in Show while Truman was Best Male Puppy and Supertramp was Best Female Puppy and Best Overall Puppy.
April-May - three week construction project on the backyard. Trees and brush were cleared to make way for a new fence. There is about a half acre for the dogs to play in...once all of the poison ivy is cleared!
July 28-29 - Truman and I attended a Mason-Dixon Multibreed Dog Association conformation show (UKC). It was Truman's first event and he came away with a Group Four. Now he has one leg towards his UKC Championship.
August 5 - Chablis and I attended Pat Hasting's "Structure in Action" seminar in Sanford, NC.  Cathy Jo and Eva from Turning Leaf Terriers were there too and we all had a great time. I would recommend this seminar to anyone interested in conformation or performance dogs.
August 9 - Chablis passed his behavior evaluation to be a passive therapy dog for HABIT and he has been accepted into their program! We should receive our facility assignment in the near future.
March 28 - Chablis completed a Beginner's Basic Obedience Class through the Oak Ridge Kennel Club.
October 4 - Chablis made his first HABIT visit to the Daniel Arthur Rehabilitation Center and was a hit! He was polite in making his rounds through the patients...giving each person equal time and plenty of kisses. They look forward to his future visits.
Oct-Nov - Truman, Chablis and I are taking an eight week show handling class through the Oak Ridge Kennel Club.
Nov 22-28 - Truman, Chablis and I went with my family to Ormond Beach, Florida for Thanksgiving. Truman enjoyed shopping at the Daytona Flea Market while Chablis decided to attend the Daytona Turkey Run (classic car show). Both dogs had a fun time on Flagler Beach (nearest beach that has a "dog friendly" section).
December 2 - Rolling Hills Daegan of Magick obtained his UKC Championship today. He is out of Truman and Moementum's March06 litter and is a full brother to my SuMoe. Congratulations Heather!
